Welcome Letter
Greetings Parents:
I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and express my excitement about working with your child this year. I love teaching students about science because I care deeply about their outcome in life. I believe students can grow and develop by examining every aspect of life in we cover in class. The main goal of the course is for the students will be involved in a variety of activities which include demonstrations, group projects, experiments, group discussions, and inquiry labs. The objectives of this course are for students to become lifelong learners, to embrace the world of science, and be able to think critically and scientifically. Additionally, I will prepare our young learners to become highly competent, conscientious and compassionate global leaders and citizens by means of rigorous instruction, relevant curriculum and meaningful relationships. One way to achieve this goal will be to use 21st Century technology and engaging hands-on labs.
Also note that if you ever have any comments, questions or concerns, I am available for phone calls and meetings (by appointment please) each day before school. To schedule a meeting, you may contact me via [email protected] or (404) 802-3200 (school).
I am excited about working with you and your child. I welcome questions or comments, and am looking forward to a great academic year!
